Dr. Kevin Guze - Founder and Chair
Dr. Kevin Guze received his DMD at the University of British Columbia and completed his General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Vancouver General Hospital. He was a successful general practitioner for 15 years in the Vancouver area before coming to Harvard to complete his post-doctoral fellowship in Periodontics and receive his DMSC.
After completing his studies at Harvard, Dr. Guze went to Oxford University, where he completed his MSC in Therapeutic Pharmaceuticals. This degree enhanced his knowledge of bringing clinical discoveries to market (translational research), which has been his focus in research.
Dr. Guze has always been a natural leader and has been asked to teach and speak worldwide about his research and new dental techniques. He is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Guze is also a clinical instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is active in teaching and clinical research.
Dr. Guze’s primary area of interest is translational research, which puts him in an ideal position to interact with corporate America, where entrepreneurial pursuits are explored between industry and academia.
Gino DeSimone - CEO
With over 30 years in the dental industry and as a native New Englander with global experience. Gino has brought servant leadership, creativity and innovation to the group. He is committed to balanced success among patients & employees as well as positivity!!
Gino and his wife Robinsue have two children – Alex who has followed in his father’s footsteps become a digital dentistry expert. And Amanda, who like her mother is passionate about wellness and nutrition. They also have two dogs – Eddie & Lulu – Cocker Spaniels that take to the acreage on their 1770 farm in NH. Gino enjoys traveling, hiking and cooking. He has travelled to all 50 states and over 40 countries.
Diane Patterson - Head of Operations
With 7 years of providing supportive leadership in dentistry, Diane brings a unique and transparent approach to connecting with both her teams and patients. Blending her understanding of human dynamics, her relatable style and dedication to excellence, this results in creating a compassionate, positive and supported work environment. In turn, cultivating a team that provides an excellent patient experience. Nicknamed “The Digger”, Diane thrives on learning new things, understanding the why behind it all and thinking outside the box. “We all have a general understanding of how to get from point A to point B in a straight shot. I feel compelled to go all the way around both points to make sure that it is, in fact, the most effective and efficient way of getting there.”
In her free time, Diane treasures spending time with her loving and supportive husband, 2 children and their yellow lab. A boy mom, Diane has learned to fall in love with football, the outdoors and getting dirty; all things her boys enjoy. A Taurus at heart, she is loyal, hardworking and generous. Raised in a traditional Portugues household, Diane has a deep value for respect, family, traditions and a passion for cooking.
Michael Brown - Head of Marketing and Innovation
With over a decade of experience in the dental industry, Michael combines hands-on experience in patient care with a strong background in business and technology. A lifelong learner, he holds a Dental Assisting License, a BS in Business Management, and dual MBAs in Management and Healthcare Management. He is also currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science. Michael is particularly interested in how technology is transforming the dental industry and is passionate about attracting new patients while optimizing patient care and operational efficiency.
For over 10 years, Michael has been deeply involved in dentistry, working both at his family’s dental practice and at WorkWell Dental Group for over five years. His experience has given him a well-rounded perspective on patient care, team collaboration, and the evolving role of innovation in dentistry. He thrives on working closely with the WorkWell team, always seeking ways to help the team, secure new patients, and enhance patient experiences.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling, learning, and spending quality time with his family. He is a tech enthusiast and has three beloved cats, who add plenty of joy and entertainment to his daily life.
Stephanie Mullen - Human Resources Generalist
Stephanie Mullen attended Southern New Hampshire University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Stephanie went on to receive her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.
Stephanie spent the first decade of her career in the hospitality industry, then eventually found her home within the dental field. Her experience spans all facets of human resources such as talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, and employee relations. Stephanie enjoys working in a team setting, as well as independently, and loves collaborating on new projects and initiatives with her colleagues.
A life-long learner, Stephanie has always felt equally drawn to teaching in some capacity. Stephanie holds several certifications in yoga, breathwork, and related modalities, and teaches multiple styles of yoga to both adults and children. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with her husband and their young daughter.
Yanira Santos - Director of Practice Management
With us for more than 10 years, Yanira brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role. Having started as a dental assistant, she deeply values creating positive, welcoming experiences for both patients and her team. Yanira believes a truly successful dental practice is built on professionalism, genuine patient care, and consistently exceptional service.
Outside the office, Yanira enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Gaby, as they share a love for travel, discovering new restaurants, and exploring local breweries and wineries. Her adventurous spirit fuels her passion for experiencing different cultures and cuisines around the world. She adores her two furry companions, Lucky and Elf. She also gives back to the community, volunteering at animal shelters and staying actively engaged in causes close to her heart.
