Meet Our Leadership Team

Dr. Kevin Guze received his DMD at the University of British Columbia and completed his General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Vancouver General Hospital. He was a successful general practitioner for 15 years in the Vancouver area before coming to Harvard to complete his post-doctoral fellowship in Periodontics and receive his DMSC.

After completing his studies at Harvard, Dr. Guze went to Oxford University, where he completed his MSC in Therapeutic Pharmaceuticals. This degree enhanced his knowledge of bringing clinical discoveries to market (translational research), which has been his focus in research.

Dr. Guze has always been a natural leader and has been asked to teach and speak worldwide about his research and new dental techniques. He is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Guze is also a clinical instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is active in teaching and clinical research.

Dr. Guze’s primary area of interest is translational research, which puts him in an ideal position to interact with corporate America, where entrepreneurial pursuits are explored between industry and academia.

For over 15 years, Dr. Mark Sivers grew a fee-for-service multispecialty dental practice, taught as an associate professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, and served as the team dentist for the Boston Red Sox. In 2008, he and Harvard Business School professors developed how to practice dentistry more efficiently with better outcomes, profitability, and fewer complications. 

In 2015, Dr. Sivers founded LAETA Inc., a healthcare investment company, and in 2017, he co-founded Affiliated Dental Support, a multistate DSO. He is on the board of the following: American Academy of Dental Group Practice (AADGP) Board of Directors, Oxford University Poverty and Business Board, and Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business Advisory Board. Dr. Sivers currently mentors dentists nationwide to improve their ability to diagnose, plan treatments, and enhance their quality of care. He is married, has three children, and lives in Boston.

Dr. Sivers’ past activities have included: dental practice roll-ups; transitioning from dental insurance-based fees to fee-for-service dental practices; beta testing digital dental scanners with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Brontes Technologies; incorporating intraoral photography into patient care to track oral changes over time; using CBCT imaging in routine patient care; implementing artificial intelligence to read radiographs, and much more.

George is a native of Philadelphia and has been with our team for over seven years. He enjoys working alongside his amazing and supportive colleagues to provide the best possible care to patients and understands that a healthy mouth often means a healthy body.

When not caring for smiles, George enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and children, and volunteering at the local food bank. His dream is to someday live on a quiet farm or a peaceful island where he can sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery.
